ASYNCHRONOUS
SLIP RING MOTORS

ASYNCHRONOUS
SLIP RING MOTORS

TECHNICAL DATA

Introduction

These three-phase metallurgical industrial and crane motors, available with wound or squirrel cage rotors, are specifically designed for metallurgical cranes and similar heavy-duty machinery. Engineered with high overload capacity and exceptional mechanical strength, they are ideal for short duty cycles, intermittent periodic operations, and equipment that requires frequent starting, braking, or is exposed to vibration and shock.

Key Characteristics

  • Power output and mounting dimensions comply with IEC 72 standards
  • Suitable for operation at altitudes up to 1,000 m
  • Available in two insulation classes:
    • Class F: for ambient temperatures up to 40°C
    • Class H: for metallurgical industrial environments, suitable for temperatures up to 60°C
(Note: Both classes share the same technical performance data)
  • Enclosure protection degrees:
    • IP44 for standard environments
    • IP55 for harsh metallurgical industrial conditions

Rated Voltage and Frequency

  • 380 V / 50 Hz
