Overview

The SD700K Compact Series delivers the advanced features of the SD700 family in a space-saving design, with power density up to 800 kW/m³. This makes it the ideal solution for projects where space constraints are critical.
Reducing its size by up to 2.5 times, SD700K offers professional project engineers greater flexibility and competitiveness when designing and executing electrical installations.

Designed with a top input power and bottom motor output connection, following the contactor wiring concept, it is supplied in two IP00 units (drive unit and input chokes), making it easy to install in custom cabinets or technical rooms according to Power Electronics guidelines.

  • 12-pulse option to reduce Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) without increasing space requirements.
  • External input chokes (3% impedance) included to filter grid anomalies, preserving the drive’s performance and reducing THD.
  • Standard EMC input filter for minimizing electromagnetic interference.
  • External braking units:
    • B150 braking unit dissipates regenerated energy during braking cycles, ensuring smooth operation.

Installation Flexibility

  • Delivered in two components (IP00): drive unit and input chokes, enabling custom cabinet installation.
  • Designed for easy integration in space-restricted technical rooms or specialized enclosures.
